can i have some diabetes help?
Is diabetes mellitus simply diabetes? Is it type one or type two? thank you very much :D thanks praire girl : ) thats what i thought

Diabetes melitus and diabetes are the same thing, so you can have diabetes melitus type 1 or diabetes melitus type 2. In type 1 the body doesn't produce insulin. In type 2 the body is unable to use the insulin it produces. Gestational diabetes is the same as type 2, but goes away once the baby is born.
