Chromium is a constituent of Glucose tolerance factor of lower animals.Absolute Chromium deficiency caused by prolonged parenteral nutrition causes Impaired glucose tolerance that is corrected by abministration of Chromium in picograms called Chromium picolinate..All juvenile diabetics show mineral deficiencies including Iron. Increasing ingestion of tinned,canned ,fast and pickled foods is causing diabetes and these foods lack micronutrients.
