What would be a good conclusion for this essay

What would be a good conclusion for this essay?
The population of Bahrain suffers from one of the highest prevalence rates of diabetes in the world. Talk to any medical professional in the kingdom and they’ll tell you it is one of the most pressing health issue the country faces. Currently around 15 per cent of the population suffers from diabetes, with the illness causing five percent of deaths in Bahrain. Yet, thanks to the symptoms being so various and relatively difficult to self-diagnose, up to half of those suffering don’t even know they’ve got it. Diabetes is a metabolic disease which is caused by abnormal insulin secretion that regulates glucose use by the cell for energy. The result is a high glucose in the blood leading to damage to the blood vessels supplying main organs and tissues like the kidney, eye, nerves and the heart. According to the International Diabetes Federation, five countries among the six highest diabetes prevalence rates in the world are Gulf States countries, including Bahrain which is ranked the fifth. The seriousness of the problem is that 50 percent of cases are unaware that they have the disease but even those diagnosed with diabetes are identified after years of the disease with no symptoms. This is a silent disease and most patients have no symptoms and this underscores the need for early screening for those at risk of the disease. It is estimated that diabetes prevalence will increase by more than two fold in Bahrain in the next two decades. Diabetes mellitus has become one of the most common public health problems in the country. In 1988 it was estimated that 3.4% of total deaths in Bahrain were due to diabetes. There are many solutions to cure diabetes before it occurs and after it occurs; depending on the stage it is in. each solution depends on the stage and type of diabetes the individual has. The solutions are; Hydrotherapy, Detoxification, Herbal medicines, and Mud Therapy. These solutions should be carried immediately for individuals in order to solve the diabetes problem. The symptoms can be very unnoticeable so check ups are highly recommended if any of the less visible are seen or felt by the individual.

How do i overcome being hurt over my professor making fun of me

How do i overcome being hurt over my professor making fun of me?
I am overweight and I'm trying to lose weight. I've been overweight my entire life and for those of you who knows, it's hard to lose weight. I lost 5 pounds so far. I know it may seem small, but it's a big start for me. The other day in my anatomy and physiology class at college, my professor was talking about insulin and diabetes mellitus. he asked the class what can cause diabetes mellitus and someone answered obesity. the professors says exercise can help diabetes mellitus and for those couch potatoes it can cause diabetes. he looks straight at me while talking about it. i tried not to think of it too much, but then he goes with exercise one can decrease chances of getting diabetes, and says, "right ana?" my face turned bright red and i just looked down my notes. I felt so embarrassed. i know he doesnt like me because he calls everyone in class at least once by name and never on me. I am getting A's in his class, and i have 2 more weeks until class is over, but i thought it was so rude and i got hurt.

Talk to the principal . Thats soo unfair , he can get fired for that ! >:O
2 :
report him that is the best thing to do than switch a class same of course but different professor you don't need that your there to learn and have enough on your plate as is..good luck
3 :
Go up to him and say, I hate the way you treat me I don't deserve it because i may be anatomically different and if you continue this, your job position will be compromised as I will take this to the principal. He now knows what he is doing is bothering you, he may not have known this, and also he knows you know what you are talking about. That way if he does carry on he has had his warning and you have unquestionable reason to talk to the principal. A good idea would be to have some mates in that class to back you up incase it gets serious to say yes he treats you unfairly due to your weight which is bullying and how students are severely punished for bulling for an adult this is inexcusable. Good Luck X

Is this the right way to internally cite

Is this the right way to internally cite?
Is this the right way to internally cite? Diabetes mellitus, characterized by the decreased carbohydrate metabolism due to decreased insulin resulting in high blood and urine glucose levels (Brunzel 267, Flynn and Whitlock 27), and diabetes insipidus, characterized by decreased synthesis of antidiuretic hormone or lack of renal tubular response to the hormone (Brunzel 268, Flynn and Whitlock 36), are two diseases that can also cause pale or colorless urine (Graff 10-12). Or should I explain the diseases in a separate sentence? Two diseases that cause pale or colorless urine are diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus (Graff 10-12). Diabetes mellitus characterized by the decreased carbohydrate metabolism due to decreased insulin resulting in high blood and urine glucose levels (Brunzel 267, Flynn and Whitlock 27). Diabetes insipidus is characterized by decreased sythesis of antidiuretic hormone or the lack of renal tubular response to the hormone (Brunzel 268, Flynn and Whitlock 36). My teacher said to describe the disease right after mentioning it, so I'm assuming that they have to be in the same sentence - or am I misinterpreting what she meant by "right after it"??

There is NOTHING wrong with guns.
2 :
I'm with you for banning lethargy, especially the lethargic who wear tight clothing :) We should also ban gun control laws.
3 :
The personal possession of a firearm is a "right" that empowers the invidual. The left wants a 'collective" to have the power not the individual. Thus the "problem" with firearms.
4 :
I know criminals hate them...it's that self-defense thing. ;)
5 :
There's nothing wrong with guns. What's bad is allowing people who aren't mature enough to handle guns properly to have them.
6 :
I dont see a problem.
7 :
Taking guns away will only take them away from people trying to protect themselves too. The killers don't care if gun laws exist or don't. The only thing wrong with them are stupid people.
8 :
I say we start at the top of the list with bans. When that one is complete ,we can work our way down. NO MORE HEART ATTACKS!!! come on people, say it with me... down with heart attacks!!
9 :
I think you're kind of missing the point here. All these thing you mention are results of accidental or unavoidable deaths, with the exception of nicotine, which would be by choice of the individual. Deaths from guns are deaths that are, far more often than not, deliberate acts inflicted by disturbed individuals on innocent and most often unsuspecting victims. I honestly don't see how you can compare here. As far as deaths by automobiles, the numbers don't add up either. Consider for a moment the number of individuals in this country that own and operate an automobile on a daily basis. The numbers would probably be in the tens of millions. Now consider how many people own and use guns on a regular basis. It would only make sense that there would be a higher mortality rate for automobiles. Also keep in mind that all the things you mentioned are things that we as a society are working at reducing as well, finding cures for ailments and increasing safety on the roads. I think you're comparing apples and oranges here.

The next step in management is:

The next step in management is:?
7 : A 19-year-old with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus is taking 30 units of NPH insulin each morning and 15 units at night. Because of persistent morning glycosuria with some ketonuria, the evening dose is increased to 20 units. This worsens the morning glycosuria, and now moderate ketones are noted in urine. The patient complains of sweats and headaches at night. The next step in management is: a. Increase the evening dose of insulin b. Change to premixed 30:70 Insulin c. Increase the morning dose of insulin d. Switch from human NPH to pork insulin e. Obtain blood sugar levels between 2:00 and 5:00 A.M.

Answer: E The patient sounds hypoglycemic, due to the adrenergic symptoms of sweats and headache, so the immediate next step should be confirmation of low blood sugar levels in the middle of the night. Then the next step after that would be to shift the dose of intermediate acting insulin closer to bedtime, hence ensuring a later peak of insulin just before breakfast.
