type 1 is caused by the simple fact that your pancreas does not secrete insulin. type 2 is when your pancreas does secrete some insulin but your body is not able to use it. Type 1 is not related to the amount of sugar you eat. It's said to be autoimmune. Type 2 is usally caused by obesity.
2 :
It is the ability of the pancreas to produce Insulin sufficient to burn all the sugar uptake so it is relative

there are two types. in type 1 pancreas is not functioning sort of a stage on which you do not have any control. just like manufacturing defect. Type 2 usually in inherited or due to obesity or false eating habits. In tyhis type though the insulin is produced by pancreas but it is not properly used by the body or the sugar intake is so much that the insulin is insufficient to consume that sugar. Here there is need to do both, Take insulin supplement thro needle preferable in stomach and also cut your sugar intake.

i know your pancreas produces insulin and insulin regulates glucose in the blood, and people who have diabetes either don't produce enough or overporduce. people who under produce need sugar to supplement glucose in the body.

Diabetes is now a days said to be genetic in origin...but that's yet to be proven. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disorder wheere the body acts against its own pancrease and destroys it. Your body makes too little or no insulin. Type 2 diabetes is when our body can't use the insulin it makes.
